She Streams on My Platform — Episode 2: Too Close to Answer

Day one under Annie's roof, and Liam has slept two hours. He spent the rest of the night quietly digging up the name of the man she owes. Now he's padding around in her ex's clothes while she cooks breakfast in tiny shorts, and thinking straight has never been harder. The air in that small kitchen is thick with everything neither of them says.

Then a fist hammers on the door. Ray wants his money, and a frozen payout is not his problem. Liam walks into the hallway, calm as anything, and tells Ray his own name, whose name his business is really registered under, and whose cash he's really moving. Come back in a week. Ray leaves. In Episode 2, Annie stares at the nobody in her ex's hoodie and wonders how he could possibly know all that. 'Enjoy your breakfast, Annie.' She moves in close, inches from his face, waiting for an answer he can't give.
